Festus, littermate to the boy I kept to work with in 2001, went to live with a wonderful person, trainer and friend named Karen Graham. She has worked wonders with this boy obtaining the illusive Triple Champion title which comprises his conformation championship, field championship and agility championship. He is currently on his way to his MACH II title.

When Festus and Karen garnered the Triple Champion title the Dachshund Club of America featured him on the cover of their National Magazine and had an article inside.

With Karen as his owner and trainer, Festus went so much further than he would have in my house. He is currently working towards his CD and his rally titles, being 2/3 of the way there on both.

Festus has the endearing (well maybe) habit of letting Karen and the agility audience KNOW when she has either messed up a command or she is going too slow - he will bark incessantly until she gets in line with his demands!!
